PERFECT CURE FOR POST OTTER BLUES

Post Otter blues? We’ve got the perfect cure…

South African trail runners are in for a treat with the iconic Rhodes Quality Dryland Traverse taking place later this month.

The four-day stage race, which showcases the classic trails of the Klein Karoo, has fast become a favourite on the local running scene. As a sell-out event in 2018, entries have almost doubled in the past two years.

A stand-out feature of the event is its truly unique Prologue route that takes runners through the Cango Caves – the only trail running race in South Africa with permission to do so.

Other highlights of the event include traversing the mighty Swartberg Mountains – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, breathtaking views of the Great and Klein Karoo, and trails that run past the renowned Raubenheimer Dam.

Look out for more information about the event that will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, attached are some of our favourite images from the 2018 event…
